1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

These general terms and conditions (further: General Terms and Conditions of Internet Sales) regulate the sale of bus tickets via the Internet on the websites of Autobusni Kolodvor Split d.o.o. (hereinafter referred to as AKS) – www.ak-split.hr, which supplement the provisions of the General Conditions for the Performance of Station Activities in the currently valid version.

 

2. PURCHASE OF BUS TICKETS VIA THE INTERNET

2.1. On the website www.ak-split.hr, users can purchase bus tickets for scheduled passenger transport via the Internet no later than 60 minutes before the scheduled departure. With each purchase via the Internet, the user agrees to the General Terms and Conditions of Ticket Sales via the Internet, the General Terms and Conditions of Performing Station Activities of the Split Bus Terminal and the General Terms and Conditions of Transport for the Selected Carrier.

2.2. A user who has purchased a bus ticket via the Internet on the website www.ak-split.hr and has had it delivered to him/her by email is obliged to print it out and can use it to properly board the bus. A user who has purchased a ticket online on the website www.ak-split.hr for which it is indicated that it is necessary to collect it at the ticket office of the bus station ” is obliged to collect it at the ticket office of the Bus Station with a confirmation of purchase and a coupon code. If the ticket was sent to the user via email, it cannot be collected at the ticket office. Delivery method: EMAIL – The ticket received by email, printed, is valid for boarding the bus; BOX OFFICE – tickets must be collected at the ticket office of the bus station.

2.3. For return tickets, the user is obliged to book a return trip in accordance with the General Conditions of Transportation of the selected carrier.

2.4. When purchasing a ticket for a destination that includes crossing one or more borders, the user is obliged to have a valid travel document.

 

 

3. DEADLINES FOR SALE

Bus tickets from Article 2 of these General Terms and Conditions can be purchased on the website www.ak-split.hr no later than:

  • 60 minutes before scheduled departure

 

4. CONTRACT CONCLUSION and METHOD OF DELIVERY

4.1. When purchasing a bus ticket via the Internet, the ticket purchase contract is realized by delivery of the ticket or a confirmation of the successful purchase by e-mail. In order for the entire purchase to be completed successfully, the successful completion of the payment module is first of all required, and the ticket or purchase confirmation will be delivered by e-mail only after the payment is completed. If the electronic payment is not made, the purchase is deleted.

By purchasing the ticket, after which the ticket and invoice were sent to the user’s e-mail address, the user accepted the transport contract between the user and the carrier in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of the carrier as well as the contractual relationship between the user and AKS.

When buying a ticket, the user is obliged to enter correct and complete data and is responsible for all activities performed during the ticket purchase.

4.2. If the user has chosen one of the discounts when buying a ticket online, when entering the carrier’s vehicle, the same reserves the right to ask for proof that the user is a member of the discount category he has chosen. If the user does not prove this, he is obliged to pay the full price of the bus ticket. In the event that the user does not agree to pay the price difference in the above case, the carrier reserves the right to deny the user the right to enter the vehicle.

 

 

5. REFUND AND EXCHANGE OF TICKETS PURCHASED THROUGH THE INTERNET

5.1. The ticket is either replaced or returned in the manner described in the General Terms and Conditions of Station Services at the Bus Station ticket offices during the station’s working hours.

5.2. In the event that the user does not wish to return the ticket at the ticket offices, a request for a refund can be submitted by email.

The user is obliged to submit the ticket invoice (purchase receipt) received after payment to the specified email address.

In the event that the tickets are returned in the manner described in the General Terms and Conditions of Station Services, AKS is obliged to refund the money paid for the ticket, reduced by 10% of the ticket price for handling costs, without refunding the money paid for the station service and seat reservation.

If a refund for a bus ticket is requested at the station ticket office, the refund will be made in cash, and if a refund is requested by email, the refund will be made to the account from which the purchase was made.

5.3. AKS will notify the carrier by email that the ticket has been returned or replaced, or that it is no longer valid. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

 

6. PAYMENT PROCEDURE

6.1. Debit card purchase

It is possible to pay for bus tickets in the online store with a debit / credit cardcards „„ MasterCard, Maestro, Visa. Payment in installments is not possible.

For direct debit payments, you must have a valid Maestro or Visa Electron debit card for simple identification purposes. In the case of purchases by direct debit, the determined amount is charged immediately, by direct debit to the current account. A direct debit purchase as a payment method requires successful processing by the debit card issuer. By providing their debit card and checking account information, customers confirm that they have the right to authorize payments by direct debit to such checking account and that they will provide the necessary coverage.

6.2 Purchase by credit card

In the case of credit card purchases, customers’ accounts are debited after completing the purchase of the bus ticket or reservation.

 

7. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

In order to maintain the functionality of buying tickets online and to enable the services that users are looking for and that can be provided to them, and that the purchase of tickets is voluntary and the user decides on their use, AKS can collect and use the user’s personal data. During the purchase of tickets, it is possible, depending on the purpose of purchasing bus tickets, to provide information about products or services, etc.) to collect user personal data such as: first and last name, e-mail address, phone number, etc.

AKS processes the collected data for the purpose of providing the desired services, i.e. buying a bus ticket, and in order to provide the user with possible information about products or services that he can or could use, such as special discounts, new services, new bus lines, etc. AKS can use the specified data to provide you with more efficient customer service.

The legal basis for processing is the provision of Art. 6.1.(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation – processing is necessary for the execution of a contract in which the respondent is a party or in order to take actions at the request of the respondent before concluding the contract. The legal basis for providing information about products or services that the user can or could use is the provision of Art. Art. 6.1. (f) General data protection regulations – processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests of the controller or a third party, except when those interests are stronger than those interests or the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject that require the protection of personal data, especially if the data subject is a child.

We remind the user that he can file an objection at any time when the processing is based on a legitimate interest. In this case, AKS will stop processing personal data unless it proves that there are compelling legitimate reasons for processing that go beyond the interests, rights and freedoms of the user.

8. CHECKING THE VALIDITY OF THE BUS TICKET OR RESERVATION

8.1. The passenger must show the bus ticket or reservation together with a valid identification document with a photo, when so requested by AKS employees or the carrier’s bus staff, during ticket controls for the purpose of checking the validity of bus tickets or reservations, solely for the purpose of checking the validity of the bus ticket or the discount obtained, depending on given category (students, pensioners, etc.).

8.2. The bus ticket or reservation is valid only for the departure at the time indicated on the bus ticket or reservation and for the designated carrier.

 

9. OTHER

9.1. Based on the technical peculiarities of the Internet, it cannot be guaranteed that all purchase modules on the www.ak-split.hr website will be available at all times.

11. APPLICATION AND FINAL PROVISIONS

These General Terms and Conditions are published on the AKS notice board and on the website www.ak-split.hr

11.1. In the event of a dispute, the exclusive application of the law in the Republic of Croatia and the jurisdiction of the competent court in Split are agreed.

11.2. Any attempt to misuse the printed card will be reported to the competent institutions of the Republic of Croatia. By accepting these General Terms and Conditions, users agree that in the event of misuse of the printed card, the Branch will use the personal data left from the debit/credit card.

 

In the case of the need to interpret the provisions of these general conditions in relation to their translated texts into other languages, only the Croatian version of the text of these general conditions is valid.

These General Terms and Conditions enter into force on the eighth day from the date of publication.
