City harbour Split is one of the most frequent harbours by realized numbers of passenger and vehicle transfers on the Croatian coast of Adriatic sea.

Split harbour is located in the middle part of Croatian coast and attracts most of the inhabited southern Adriatic islands. Important traffic corridors from Rijeka to Dubrovnik or Zagreb to Ancona and Pescara all pass through Split.
